NYU to go 'one on one' with c.e.o.s at conference

NEW YORK January 15, 2008—Going "One on One with the CEOs", Lalia Rach, divisional dean and HVS International Chair of NYU's Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management, will reflect upon 30 years of industry successes, challenges, and deals and discuss future outlooks along with a trio of the esteemed and influential CEOs who have shaped the last three decades of the lodging industry at the 30th Anniversary NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, to be held June 1 to June 3, 2008 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City.

The CEOs featured in this session will include: Jonathan D. Gray, senior managing director and co-head of the Real Estate Group, The Blackstone Group; J. Willard Marriott, Jr., chairman and CEO of Marriott International, Inc.; and Barry S. Sternlicht, chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital Group. Moderated by Lalia Rach, "One on One with the CEOs" will capture the financial state of the industry and launch the first full day of the leading conference's 30th year.

The NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, hosted by New York University's Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management, is the premier hospitality finance and development forum of its kind where hotel CEOs, analysts and other hospitality leaders gather to discuss the current state, significant growth, future challenges, and major developments in the industry. Jonathan M. Tisch, chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels and son of the Tisch Center's namesake Preston Robert "Bob" Tisch, is conference chair.
